FAQ
Chronodex is a visual scheduling tool designed to help you map out your 24-hour day in a creative, flexible way. Unlike traditional planners that use rigid grids, Chronodex uses a circular layout inspired by a clock face, giving you the freedom to schedule, take notes, and mindmap without limits. This encourages radial thinking and lets you arrange your day in a way that sparks creativity and suits your unique workflow.
Currently, Chronodex is available as a digital download only. You can print it out and use it in any notebook or planner you like. While many people have requested a Chronodex stamp with changeable dates for more versatile use, I haven’t been able to dedicate the time or resources to produce it yet—but I hope to make this a reality in the future.
To print Chronodex, simply download the PDF and print it onto A4 paper without scaling. Fold the paper along the middle line, cut along the indicated lines, and slide it into your Traveler’s Notebook or stick it onto your refill pages. For a detailed, step-by-step visual guide, see the following image.
Quick steps:
Double-sided printing of the PDF onto A4 paper (no scaling).
Fold along the middle line.
Cut along the “cut line.”
Insert into your notebook or planner
Understanding the print sequence:
After printing all the pages, cut along the "cut line" on both sides of the A4 paper.
If you have printed correctly, i.e. the PDF's first page is on the first paper, the second page is on the back of the first paper, you won't need to rearrange anything.
IMPORTANT NOTE about double-sided printing: if your printer can do duplex printing, make sure you print in landscape and select "left/right" BINDING.
Chronodex is designed for both scheduling and note-taking. You can fill any free space with notes or meeting details and draw a line back to the corresponding time on the Chronodex core. Use it for zoning (marking periods of time), pin-pointing (noting specific times), and even tracking overlapping schedules by using different shadows, colors, or pie sizes. The radial design helps you visualize your day, encourages mindmapping, and frees you from the limitations of fixed grids.
